The Customary Council asks Biak students to uphold the spirit of nationalism

Chairman of the Biak Customary Council (Kainkain Karkara) Manpun JK Mandibodibo asked local students as future leaders of the Indonesian nation in the area to uphold the commitment to the spirit of nationalism.

"History records that youth have played an important role in inheriting the spirit of Indonesian nationality since 1908, the Youth Pledge of 1928, until the independence of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 1945," he said in Biak, Papua Province, Monday.

He hopes that the younger generation of Biak will continue to learn and improve their abilities to look to a better future.

As a Biak traditional leader, Manpun Mandibodibo expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of high school / vocational students in participating in the 2022 Nusantara Student Festival.

"Continue to study hard at school so that Biak's young generation becomes strong and independent," he said.

He invites high school / vocational students to always get closer to God so that they are given fluency in pursuing their goals at school.

"DAB supports the 2022 Nusantara Student Festival because it can channel the talent interests of the Biak Numfor youth generation," he said.

At least 1,115 students from 15 SMA/SMK in Biak City participated in the 2022 Nusantara Student Festival in the area.
