The Regent handed over 20 laptops to support Manokwari's education services



The Regent of Manokwari, Hermus Indou, handed over the assistance of 20 laptop units to the Ibnu Khaldun Madrasah Ibtidaiyah School, in Kampung Makassar, West Manokwari District to support the development of public education services.

"The handover of the laptop to the school is a form of support in preparing competitive and productive human resources," said Hermus, in Manokwari, West Papua, Saturday.

He said that education and human resource development must be carried out to catch up with the progress of the nation with the aim of building an advanced and independent nation.

In addition to qualified teachers, education is considered to need to be supported by digital infrastructure considering the demands of today's running digitally.

Hermus assessed that students in schools, especially at MI Ibnu Khaldun, must be adapted to the times so that their education will be better in the future.

"What we help today we hope can be used properly so that the next generation can continue to use it and for the betterment of our children, whatever must be done," he said.

Hermus on the other hand said that the assistance was given by his side because the people in Kampung Makassar had participated in developing Manokwari Regency from a productive economic perspective.

"The government handed over the assistance of 20 laptops as well as a commitment to provide the best for all people in Manokwari," he explained.
