Filep Karma's son made sure his father died pure because of drowning

Adrefina Karma, the second child of the late Filep Karma, a prominent figure and activist for Papuan independence, stated that his father, Filep Jacob Semuel Karma, died in an accident or drowned while diving at Base-G beach, North Jayapura District, Jayapura City, Papua.

This statement was conveyed by Adrefina in front of the Papuan people who took the deceased from Bhayangkara Hospital to the funeral home, Tuesday (1/11/2022), as well as providing clarification on the widespread issues related to the death of Filep Karma.
 
“And I clarified that my father's death was an accident, purely an accident. Not because there was a plan, there was a murder, nothing," said Adrefina.
 
Adrefina's statement is not without reason, but is also based on witness testimony, which according to her is from her own family. On Sunday, October 30, 2022, witnesses saw the late Filep Karma diving at Base-G beach.

"From our own family who saw the father (deceased) in the morning, Sunday, at Base-G beach being molo or diving," he said.

"He (the deceased) used the same clothes, all complete equipment. So we from the family concluded that it was purely an accident," he added.
 
On that occasion, Adrefina expressed her gratitude to the Papuan people who shared the sadness and sorrow with her for the death of her father forever. Moreover, Adrefina is alone in the city of Jayapura, because her mother is in Jakarta and her sister is in Sorong.

"So I faced this myself. However, I am not alone, because all of my friends feel how sad I am, I am saddened by the loss of my father,” he said.
 
He also revealed that his father from birth until he died, had dedicated his life only to his beloved Papua.

Even at the time of the post-mortem, Adrefina still saw her father wearing an independent Papuan shirt on the inside. This strongly proves that Filep Karma dedicated his life only to fight for Papua.

"So, I know my father from life to death he remains in principle, namely an independent Papua," he said.
 
Filep Karma was found dead by residents this morning, on the shoreline of Base-G by residents, in a supine condition and his body was swollen.
