The inauguration of 3 new autonomous regions in Papua is ready to be held, the inauguration of the acting governor awaits the president's decision

The central government through the Ministry of Home Affairs has scheduled preparations for the inauguration of three New Autonomous Regions (DOB), namely the Provinces of South Papua, Central Papua, and Papua Mountains, which will be held on Friday (11/10), located on the main page of the Head Office of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

Head of Information Center (Kapuspen) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) Benni Irwan, when contacted by Lintas Papua.Com, Wednesday 9 November 2022, said that his party had scheduled preparations for the inauguration of 3 new autonomous regions in Papua, on Friday 11 November 2022.

"As for the inauguration of the acting governor, we are still waiting for the Presidential Decree," said Benni Irwan.

In connection with the circulation of the names of 3 new autonomous regions in Papua, namely;

- Acting Governor of Central Papua, Ribka Haluk, Regional Secretary Doren Wakerkwa.

- Acting Governor of Papua Mountains, Nikolaus Kondomo, Secretary John Walilo.
 
- Acting Governor of South Papua, Dr. Ir. Apolo Safanpo, Regional Secretary Mohammad Musa'ad.

Call the Kapuspen Kemendagri, those are the names mentioned, but of course wait for the Presidential Decree.

"Yes, those are the names that were mentioned, for sure we will wait for the Presidential Decree," said the Head of the Penuspen of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Benni Irwan.
