Three New Provinces as a Result of the Expansion of Papua Become a History of the Acceleration of Development

The Papua Province Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) interprets the inauguration of the three new provinces as a result of the expansion of Papua as a history of equitable development in Cenderawasih Earth.

This was said by the Head of the Papua Province Communication and Information Service (Kadiskominfo), Jeri Yudianto, to journalists, Thursday (24/11/2022) in Jayapura City, Papua Province.
 
According to Jeri, apart from equity, the validation of the results of the division of the province is also a sign of the continuation of the development process in the Land of Papua. Remember, the territory of Papua is very broad.

"The formation of this new province in Papua is to accelerate the process of development, equity and service to the community," said Jeri.

Jeri further said, the formation of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) of Papua was so that government services and development would be more effective for the welfare of the people, especially the Indigenous Papuans (OAP).
 
"In building government in a new province, synergy and cooperation from all agencies is needed," he said.

Jeri said that synergy is important because it is needed so that the government can run well and smoothly.

Apart from that, said Jeri, the role of traditional leaders, religious leaders, community leaders and youth is very important to join hands in maintaining the conducive situation in the area.
 
He hopes that the three new provinces, namely South Papua Province, Central Papua Province and Highlands Papua Province, will immediately proceed and follow the rhythm of development and challenges ahead.
