The Cartenz Peace Task Force deploys a team of health workers to check the health of Kiwirok residents

The Carstensz Peace Task Force dispatched a health team to Kiwirok, Gunung Bintang District, Highlands Papua, to examine the refugees.
 
Indeed, currently only 20 people have arrived from the 557 refugees from Kiwirok who were recorded, Deputy Head of the Cartenz 2022 Damai Public Relations Task Force AKBP Arif Irawan told Antara, Saturday in Jayapura.
 
The health team has been in Kiwirok, since Friday (2/12), tasked with checking the health of the refugees who are already in the district.
 
The health team departed from Oksibil, the capital of the Gunung Bintang District and immediately joined members who were already in Kiwirok.
 
Currently, those already in Kiwirok are village officials, religious and community leaders as well as the head of the puskesmas.
 
"The return of leaders and leadership elements in the district is prioritized to prepare various things before all Kiwirok people return to their hometowns," said AKBP Arif.
 
Previously the Danpos of the Cartenz Peaceful Ops Task Force 2022 AKP Budi Suryono said the security forces would help people who had returned to Kiwirok to prepare their homes which had been damaged because they had been left for more than a year due to an attack by an armed group last September 2021.
 
"All the teams will help each other so that preparations for their return will be faster, considering that many of them want to return to Kiwirok," said AKP Budi Suryono
 
In addition to attacking civilians, the KKB led by Lamek Taplo also attacked health workers, causing one of them to die and four people were injured.
