Even though Papua is currently being divided again with the formation of three New Autonomous Regions (DOB), the Islamic Education Foundation (Yapis) in the Land of Papua remains committed to remaining one. For this reason, Yapis will adjust its structure so that the representation and then the range of control from Yapis can be anticipated.

"That way, Yapis will continue to survive and be able to remain effective in carrying out the duties and responsibilities mandated at the Central Deliberation that was held several months ago," said the Chairperson of the Central Yapis in Tanah Papua Dr.Drs.H. Muhammad Musa'ad, M.Sc., in the 54th Yapis Anniversary talk show in 2022 with the theme Yapis Ihklas Works for Papua which took place at the Yapis Building, 7th Floor, Jayapura, Tuesday (6/12) yesterday.
 
Musa'ad who also serves as Assistant II to the Regional Secretariat of the Papua Province admitted, in the 54th Yapis Anniversary in 2022, matters related to da'wah, then there are also academic aspects, aspects of solidarity, including how to develop or strengthen the Yapis spirit as an institutional entity. which collects various elements, so Yapis' uniqueness comes from various elements that all resonate with Yapis

"We hope that this Milad will strengthen the commitment and enthusiasm of all parties, especially YAPIS, to work even harder, work even more steadily in the Land of Papua and because YAPIS is not only an asset for Muslims but Yapis is an asset for Papua," said Musa 'ad who admits that currently Yapis already has 24 branches and then there are universities, has thousands of alumni who are expected to be active in three new autonomous regions in Papua.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 54th YAPIS Anniversary, Abdul Mukti, said that in welcoming the YAPIS Anniversary, a launch was held before November with various activities such as Qur'an memorization competitions, recitation competitions, tug-of-war competitions, students doing scientific gymnastics. "The goal is to hone students to work in Papua, so that children like to read the Koran and are interested in religious and general sciences, because YAPIS is getting more advanced and more glorious in building a more advanced Papua," he said.
