The happiness of the residents of Intan Jaya broke when the TNI Kostrad Troop handed over the special church



The struggle of TNI soldiers from the Organic Task Force Infantry Battalion Para Raider 305/Tengkorak, Kostrad, TNI Army to be able to provide happiness to the people of Intan Jaya, after a long life under the threat of violent terror from the separatist terrorist group (KST) OPM, finally one by one it can be realized .

This time, happiness was brought by the Kostrad Skull Troops with the success of establishing a simple but very special church because the people of Bazemba, Yokatapa, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya have always wanted this church.
 
The Bazemba Church, which was previously only an abandoned building unfit for use, in just 48 days the Skeleton Troops managed to build it up to its full stature.
 
This construction has been completed 100 percent since yesterday, Tuesday 20 December 2022. And, today, Wednesday 21 December 2022, accompanied by Shepherd Yakob Sondegau and witnessed by pastors from several churches in Intan Jaya, the building was officially handed over by Yonif Para Raider 305/Tengkorak Task Force Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Ardiansyah alias Raja Aibon Kogila to the community through the Head of Kelasis GKII, Pastor Nikolas Murib by giving the church key.
 
"As an official symbol, the Bazemba Church is used as a house of worship for the Bazemba community," said Raja Aibon Kogila in a written statement received by VIVA Military.

Happiness was clearly visible on the faces of the people of Bazemba when the church was officially handed over to the King of Aibon Kogila. Never mind that under the pouring rain, the people poured in as if they wanted to witness the history of the establishment of a church for the first time in Bazemba.

According to Raja Aibon Kogila, people have started gathering in the churchyard since yesterday to prepare for the celebration of the church's inauguration. Five pigs, one of which was a gift from Army Chief of Staff, General TNI Dudung Abdurachman and 300 chickens were cut and cooked using the stone-grilled culture.
 
The traditional voices of the Papuan people are only heard intermittently. The rest always adorns the festive atmosphere in the Bazemba Church yard. In fact, the excitement of the activities in the church yard could be heard in the neighboring villages.

In fact, the people were so happy for what the Skull Troop had made, they held a welcoming ceremony for the arrival of King Aibon Kogila.

Led by Pastor Yakob Sondegau, the people welcomed the arrival of King Aibon Kogila. An orchid necklace with a pig fang pendant and an original noken made of wood fibers, the Shepherd put on the King of Aibon's neck.
 
"That is the highest form of respect for the people of Intan Jaya, which is usually only bestowed on the Chief of the Great Tribe or certain people. Thank you Mr. Shepherd. This is extraordinary. It is too luxurious for me to be welcomed and celebrated like this," said King Aibon to Pastor Yakob Sondegau before passing through the alley of the residents who lined the street.
